This is an anti-capitalist, anti-materialist dystopia.Imbued with adventure, mystery, romance, wisdom and faith!The two main characters: Felicitas (Latin for Happiness) and Carissima (Latin for Beloved) fell in love based on their random touch and first scent encounter.Complete darkness engulfed the world, because the Sun was enraged by people’s sins and left (where we see the Biblical plot turned upside-down, because according to it the world was created by Light, whereas in this novel it is reborn through Darkness).The visual sense of sight is completely removed, as are property and money: the false God of today.At the “Competition of Wisdom” the couple in love won the main prize: to head toward the Amazonian fire, the only place on earth where they will be able to see each other.
