Grandma Broadbent began selling her Hickory Smoked Sausage about 100 years ago to her neighbors in Trigg County, Kentucky. We still use her "Secret Recipe" to produce our old-fashioned tasting sausage! Mild sausage, contains no MSG and is Nitrite Free. This country pork sausage still comes in old fashioned cloth bags. Remember our country sausage is salt cured and will be salty in nature. Our biscuits are based on Julia' original recipe and have had this texture and flavor for over 100 years. The are made with Southern soft wheat flour and contain sweet cream buttermilk and real churned butter. Combine sausage and biscuit mix with 2 cups of Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Sassy Dip Mix to make kickin' sausage balls for holiday entertaining, tailgating, parties, cookouts, showers and anytime snacking.
