It’s that ache in your bones, the itch in your teeth, and the restlessness in the wee hours of the night that would have you rolling out of bed in pursuit of anything that’s not nothing. It’s ever changing and evolving while appearing in every shape, scope, and form - but most importantly, it’s a thirst which can’t be quenched. It’s everything you don’t know, need to know, haven’t done, and will do. But less obviously and perhaps most eminently, it’s the rising to an occasion nobody invited you to - and despite this lack of invitation, for better or worse, you’re going to show up anyway.
